EDITORIAL ⟩ Estonians will not be left behind

On Thursday, the first special flight organized by the Estonian government will take off, bringing home from Oman the Estonians who were trapped on the shores of the Persian Gulf. The decision has been commented on in different ways; for example, in the opinion of Äripäev, there was no need to use taxpayers’ money to evacuate people who voluntarily went on holiday to a danger zone, even though there had already been signs in the air that war might break out.
