EDITORIAL ⟩ Let us commemorate the bringers of Estonia’s freedom

On a symbolic day – on Christmas Day, 25 December – freedom fighter Mart-Olav Niklus passed away. He was the last surviving of the four Estonians who in 1979 signed the petition of forty-five Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian citizens, the so‐called Baltic Appeal.
