Over the past year, several articles have appeared in which German officials and politicians describe the threat of a Russian attack on Estonia; most recently, this was done by a German general. Behind such statements lies a desire to justify their own budget, but also the awareness that it may in fact be Berlin that is next, writes Postimees and Academy of Security Sciences security expert Erkki Koort.
