The flag rescued from the flagpole of Kadriorg Palace in September 1944 returns home from Australia

Estonians living in Australia are handing over to the Estonian National Museum the Estonian flag that was rescued from the flagpole of Kadriorg Palace on 21 September 1944, just before Soviet occupation forces reached Tallinn.
